Mado Xanthouli was born in Athens 1993. She studied Architecture at the University of Thessaly (UTH 2011-2018) and completed her Erasmus exchange program at Istanbul Technical Universitesi (ITU 2015-2016). From her studies onwards she has attended workshops that relate to the design and manufacture of small scale objects, where she worked with different materials such as wood, plastic, metal, resin etc, and she came in contact with different methods and manual techniques of processing and construction.
Her work shows her interest in small-scale design, manual techniques, experimentation with materials, as well as the relationship of objects with the body-user. She treats jewelry as wearable objects that materiality, scale, and interaction with the body can form different stories and senses.
